re: fuel pressure regulators and ECUs
hi joe,
afaik, wenning needs to know how the fuel enters the regulator & exits to the rails. i guess there's a couple different configs. my gtwe6 has a 3.0 in it, & i'm not sure if the fuel arrangement is milano or gtwe6, but i *tink* it's gtwe6. anyway, it's at the front of the engine, in the walley. fuel enters from the top-center, & exits at both sides, 180 degrees apart (each 90 deg from where the fuel enters), to feed the two fuel rails... i tink wenning will want ~$160 for one of these babies, shipped... i did the legwork a while back, but haven't ordered one yet. the guys at difatta bros in baltimore think it would be great - they have offered to manually adjust the stock regulator for ~$100, but they tink having an adjustable wersion wood be much better, so ewe can play w/it to get it where ya want...
hth,
doug s.
