fuel pressure regulators and ECUs

I've asked this before, and gotten pretty minimal responses, but
what is the collective wisdom on aftermarket ECU's for L-Jet cars? I
know of products from Tom Zat and Jonathan Kirshtein/Fred DiMatteo,
but I noticed "BS114 BOSCH PERFORMANCE ECU UNIT (2.5 V6)" on the AR
Ricambi web site today for no less than $1100!! Does anybody know
what that's all about? Due to the facts that their web site is a
pathetic joke and I still haven't received the print catalog I
ordered 13 months ago, I'm inclined not to trust AR Ricambi for
anything besides spark plugs. Of course, I have better reasons not
to trust Tom Zat, but I'd consider one of his ECUs, I think.
Adjustable pressure regulators: Does anyone have a
reasonably-priced solution? Any experience with what AR Ricambi
sells? Also, I'm away from my car right now and can't remember if
the regulator on the GTV6 is at the end or in the middle of the fuel
rail (I assume middle)--can anyone help me out? (I need to know
because I'm communicating with a German company that Dug told me
about that sells these doohickeys.)

Thanks,
Joe Elliott
'82 GTV6, but not here (weather is perfect--what I call an Italian
Car Day--how I wish I had my Alfa here to cruise through Schenley
Park with the windows down...)
