Hi
May be the rubber diff nose seal is leaking because the air vent in the diff 
backplate has blocked and the internal air pressure blew the seal. Or maybe 
the quill shaft is a bit worn and the deal doesn't run on smooth metal.  

On the rear camber, if the subframe is in good shape, perhaps the springs are 
the wrong ones or simply worn out.
Your friend doesn't have a body in the boot I take it!
