yep, I'm only ten minutes walk away from work so I'd only be using the
car in the evenings and at weekends. 15000 would probably be fine,
although it depends on how much nice weather we have this year!! :)
Was your Stag your first car, though? Although I'm not sure why
insurance companies should really care that much. Plus I'd be under 25
which is my main worry (Practical Classics were carrying an advert for
an insurance company specialising in insuring classics for new drivers a
while back though, so it's possible in theory - depends what sort of a
dim view they take on V8 engines I expect!)

That's not too bad, especially not for 3 people. I think that no NCB is
fairly common on classic policies. I can't remember if I mentioned it on
this list or in a private email, but I'd be keen to get a Stag that
needed some work doing to it but was basically sound and then fixing
things as I went along, so agreed value isn't so much of an issue
initially...
