Hello Peter,
I recall you have a Mark I? You may be missing P/N 216712 Radiator Closing
Plate Top, held in place by that fitting in the center of the radiator frame,
which is replaced by the air intake on US Mark II's. the closing plate keeps
air from going around the radiator to the top.
