Storage rack

greeting fellow staggers from Canbera.

I am not trying to rub it in but it is time to rip the tin top off and go topless.

The question is where to store this item.

I and other stag member of our club are contemplating building a storage rack in the roof of the garage.

The idea is to build a steel frame the size of the tin top. make up some hooks to fit the front securing points and another 2 under the rear and use a series of pullies to lift it.

Ultimately the idea is to use a winch off the front of a boat trailer, hooked to the wall and then one person can wind it up.

Question has anyone built such an item and how much purchase from the pully  system is required.

in the meantime I must go and wash the cars as we have the annual "Terrible British Day" on sunday where all the british car clubs turn up.
