Cylinder Head problems!
Abinger Hammer Motors have a pretty good reputation and Roger Morrish has
been 'at it' for a long time. The bill sounds a bit pricey but if it
includes all the work including getting of the heads if stuck to the head
studs, then OK.
I would never 'do' one head without the other also. The apparently good
head will have suffered also.
You can bet Roger will also suggest the timing chains as you suspect they
might be on the way out, for not a lot extra (most parts already off) this
can be done at the same time, and it would probably be a false economy to
avoid thgis work.
While you are at it, have 'unleaded' exhaust valves fitted. It will add
�60-80 but avoid repetitive repair bills.
