administrivia: new archives, teething problems

it's taking a while to get everyone over to the new server; about 1/3 of you
have made the transition. thus, i'll be resending this message in a couple
of days for those who move over in the interim.

i found some minor hitches in my majordomo/mail alias setup, and fixed them
(i think.) i will be correcting other problems as they arise.

there is a new web archive system; if you go to the web page, go to the
archives and select volume 3 (the volume that just started.) there are no
threads in the archives yet, but the MHonArc archiving system will detect
similiar subject lines and attempt to string thing together -- so don't
fiddle around too much with your subject lines.
