abs light for airbag

My abs light on my panel started coming on and staying on for about 5-10 
minutes after starting and driving my car and then it would go out. Can 
anyone tell me if this is an indication of a problem or what might be 
malfunctioning?
Also was wondering if the labor costs generally to install shocks could 
inlcude springs as well or are they seperate costs to install springs and 
shocks.
