Hi All,
Well the wheels are on the car.. and they are sweet. to review.. I just
installed 17x7.5 TSW Blades with Dunlop SP Sport 2000E 225 45ZR17's on the
car (85 535i) all the way around. the fronts are fine, but the rears rub
when I go over a dip. Now I am not sure if my rear springs are sagging or
not, but I need to get the fenders rolled cause they are rubbing.. So far I
have been given a die grinder solution, along with a baseball bat solution.
I would rather not cut the sheet metal on the car, and the bat solution is a
bit hard to picture. The gap between the tire and the fender will definatly
not accomodate a bat's width, so I would assume you need to have the car
jacked up, and in that case, how do you get the car to roll back and forth
if there is a jack underneath it. I would think that you would have to
lower the car, however wouldnt the bat and up creasing the fender badly as
soos as you drop the car?
Anyone with further info, please let me know
