Items like the zip-in window on the E36 cabriolet that sell for $400, not 
including labor, is enough to force someone in the six-figure range to 
custom manufacture a replacement. Considering entire replacement tops can 
be obtained from $600, $400 for a piece of clear vinyl with a zipper 
approaches being obscene.
