Your concerns re: moisture are legitimate issues.  Most "Bra" wearers take
them off when they get wet.  They will definitely damage the paint if
moisture get underneath and then the suns comes out.  That nice black bra
heats up well.  As far as paint fade, well, I can't say for certain.  Over
several year, probably yes.  You pick your poison, bra and possible paint
damage, or no bra and looking at the stone chips and the touchup measles.  I
put mine on for long trips where exposure to crap on the highway is a real
concern.  Around town - bra-less.
