E30 Turn Signal Woes

Hi all,

The turn signal in my 89 325i is acting up.  When turning right, the directional does not click off automatically when bringing the wheel back to center.

Any idea what I have to repair / replace?  I'd like to know what I am up against before I go opening things up.
