Been there done that! Yes, you will blow the engine with this many miles
(especially with a turbo as most kits on the market have design defects which makes
them vulnerable). The s/c is much simpler, but on a non-VaNoS 325 you will still be
suffering from no torque. Best solution (as I finally wound up doing) is to buy an
M3 engine, trans, diff, etc., and transplant it. If you don't have to worry about
smog, get a 3.2L long block and use your older intake (more hp up top). You will
have to buy a new computer & harness since your engine is non-VaNoS tho, so unless
you're really into doing some work, just buy an M3! It'll be cheaper in the long
run.
