Whistling noise from speakers

Hiya,

The 325e I just bought appears to have some after market speakers installed.
I'm getting a whistling noise from the speakers if I rev the engine with the
radio turned on, its very noticable when the volumes turned right down.

A friend told me there's a simple fix for this but he couldn't remember what
it was, are there any audiophiles out there who have come across this
problem and know what the simple fix is?
