advice for suspension in e28?

With my first kid on the way i pulled my 1987 535is out of moth balls and
got it on the road and inspected for my wife to drive and have the 4 doors
for the baby expected in a month.

Id like to put in new shocks and struts.

Can anyone offer advice on a make and model  of shock for this application.
It will be the "Family Wagon" until we find need for a 525it in a few years.

im guessing the car has the original springs and shocks.  They definatly
havent been changed since ive owned the car in 4 years.

Should i get new springs while im at it? Strut bearing too?
