As for replacing the stereo, I did this a few months back, it was quite
simple. I didn't want to screw around with any sort of rewiring, so
after I got my stereo(a super nice Blau off of eBay, look around fro
great deals), I called up Crutchfield and got a 40 dollar adapter piece,
that the BMW wires plug in to, and then the stereo plugs in to the
adapter. Very quick, very cheap, no messing with wires and rewiring.
