Peter,
I went though the same issue on my 911. There are tools out there just for
this, and boy do they make the job easy!
If you look a this site http://www.performanceproducts.com they make the
very wrench your looking for. If you just want to call them and order it
the part # is 910672, it runs $39.95. The wrench is a thin 32mm open end,
and a 46mm spanner. I just looked for it on the website but could not find
it. I have the latest catalog and they still list the wrench.
I also tried the Park Bicycle tool, but found it to be way too thin and
weak. This tool that Performance offers is beefy and strong.
Where are you located? I am in Cincinnati, your welcome to borrow it!
Good luck.
Scott
