RE: <E30>Bad Window Switch

It is quite simple to rig these switches to maybe double usage. What I
do
is:
  remove the switch
  take it apart by gently prying the sides open
  remove the copper contacts from inside the buttons
  swap the contacts and reinsert them
  it helps to bend the metal parts slightly enhance contact
  assemble, being sure the contacts, bulbs, springs are alligned
  the switch should just snap back together
The problem is that the contacts get zapped out of utility. Fortunately,
one opposing side of each contact is still good.
