<MISC> changing brake pads/ rotors ?



I understand that:
- -when changing to new rotors always change to new pads
- -if rotor is ok, you can just change the pad

I've heard that when changing from organic (soft) pads to
metallic (hard) pads that you should also change to new rotors.
Something about getting them to bed in/ wear properly.

All you guys who run different pads on the track and on the street -
do you also have multiple sets of rotors that match to different kinds
of pads ? Or do you just swap pads back and forth and don't worry
about the rotors until they warp or get really scored ?
