I you haven't received an answer to this yet, its real easy.
The E30 front seats are bolted to the floor with 4 bolts. Two
in front, two in bach. Slide the seats all the way foword and
remove the two rear bolts. You will see thenm in the rails.
Slide te seat back and remove the front two bolts. (They have
plastic cap on them which you can pop off with a screw driver.)
Tilt the seat bacwards so you can get under it and unplug the
seat belt indicator wire. Then lift out the seat. The new seats
should drop right in. Follow same setps as removal in reverse.
Should take 1/2 hour or so to do the job.
