<OBC><E34> computer on 535i

Guy,

You've probably got the answer by now but:

On my 535i to get into test mode you need to hold down the km/miles
button and THEN push the 1000's and 10's button together. Then all the
tests listed on the web page http://cbsgi1.bu.edu/bmw/obc.html will
work. Alternatively, hold in the OBC button that switches displayed
functions on your indicator stalk for 10 seconds and then press the
1000's and 10's button together.

Question for Jim Basset, when you adjust the correction factor for
MPG does this modify the rate the OBC believes fuel is being consumed
or the distance travelled ?

Anyone know any more info on the diagnotics output ? Test 5 and 6 I
think - they seem to display hex values for the inputs at the temperature
and fuel reading ports of the OBC (?)
