Hi Link,

I cannot help you with a converter.  But I assume that yours needs replacing?  I cannot remember how long it is by BMW (and all manufacturers) are required to warranty emissions components like cats for 8-10 years I believe, even if your car is out of warranty.  Call your local dealer as it is worth checking into because they are $$$$.  Also, if you are a BMWCCA member check out the February Roundel Tech section for a similar situation.  Good luck.
