administrivia: new archives

FYI, the new archives are at

/bmw/archive/v10/

these basically start today. going back and building web archives of older
volumes of the list is now moving up in priority. a script will need to be
developed that explodes digests back into individual messages and feeds
them one-by-one to the MHonArc archive engine. hopefully that won't prove
to be too painful; it doesn't look all that bad.

additionally, i hope within a month or two to switch the archives from
strictly following digest volumes, to a  year/month format, as some years
of experience now tell me that web archives by digest volume tends to
become unwieldy pretty rapidly. there are some scripts available for the
MHonArc web archive engine that are supposed to automate year/month
turnover decently; i need to investigate them.
