See, Richard does have a good memory... hahaha   Biased view but 
Leatherique is a winner for restoration and maintenance.

If the leather is just trashed, nothing will fix it. Later 164s had really 
nice leather, the 91 -93 (I have 2 with leather) is typically pretty rough 
stuff. Leatherique is a heavy duty answer to tired leather. I have dark 
charcoal and the tan of early 164s on the way for stock so the seats where 
the dye has flaked off can be renewed, and you can do intensive leather 
therapy while you are prepping for applying the dye, which is great stuff. 
As in white pants in a charcoal car safe.

Any color can be matched, and there is even a "permanent" version of Armor 
All available, I like it for 164s that get a tired look on the door panels. 
Not to shiny, but looks loved afterwards.

Leatherique is not cheap,but you get 10 times the emollients and oils of 
store bought product. I like it because it works as it says. With patience, 
it can restore a tire leather interior, but like so many things, it can't 
put back what isn't there.

I've done several 164 interiors and results were very good. Re dye the 
seats and the car looks years younger. If anyone has questions, I'll be 
glad to help.
