This doesn't sound like either a drive shaft imbalance thing (these 
tend to occur at one particular rpm band, usually, just above idle) nor 
would I think that a bad tranny mount could cause this. If this problem 
worsens with mounting RPMs, then I suspect that something attached to 
the engine (like a heat shield or other piece of metal) is loose and 
vibrating,
