Pardon my volume lately..
I was wondering a few questions about checking my oil pump.. is it
possible or a bad idea to try to remove the oil pump with only the lower
sump off? Any gotchas to watch out for or suggested procedures for
checking over the pump?
Along those lines, can one easily remove the upper pan on a 70's Spider
as it sits? I'm vaugely remembering comments that it hangs up on the
bearing caps, unless you jack it up some.. True?
Thanks..
Jon
