GTV serpent follow-up

So how are these C-pillar snakes attached?  Since the consensus seems to
be that they should be green (but are fragile), I'm inclined to replace
them (at least by the time I repaint next year).  Are they glued on like
the trunk badge?  If it was pins, I'd do the job sooner, but if it's
glue, I'll leave it alone until I paint so as not to damage what paint
is already there.
