...and some errors, as usual, that we can complain to them for,

"...we tossed in an Italian ringer: an Alfa Romeo Spider, never
intended nor destined for sale in these United States. Why?
Because we could."

I think this has been discussed on the digest, but I seem
to remember that the Spider was indeed intended (but alas
not destined) for sale in these United States. Wasn't it
actually designed with intention to sell here?

next,

"...reason to hope we'll get its successor on this side of
the pond in a few years. General Motors owns 20 percent
and has an option on the rest of Fiat Auto..."

It amazing that they can't get their facts straight with this.
Isn't it Fiat SpA that has the option to 'put' Fiat Auto in
GM's lap. GM doesn't have any explicit options to call Fiat
to sell them Auto.

and,

"GM could stand more motors like this Twin Spark marvel in the
family, the 3.0-liter has a meaty midrange that puts out a
punch of power with every upshift."

Is the 3.0L V6 twin-spark??? I'm not sure, but I thought it
was not. Sorry if I'm wrong here.

Anyway, at least they spelled Alpha Romero right, and they
gave the Spider positive feedback.
