Subject: Bleeding Dual Circuit 69 Brakes Again and Again and...
I can't believe this is still not working. I took it to a professional with
vacuum and pressure bleeders and he swears there is no air in the system.
Yet
the pedal is still low and soft. Its a newly resleeved MC, new front brake
hoses, and I've gone through a number of quarts of DOT 3 fluid trying to
bleed
it myself, cracked the lines at the boosters, kept the engine running and
so
on and so forth. What else do I need to do? I'm a desperate man and the
matchs
are starting to whisper to me, "burn it, burn it, burn it..."

Does this newly resleeved MC need a spring to return the piston back with
the pedal? Just a thought that if the pedal moves significantly before
hitting the piston you will always get to much travel. Also is the linkage
adjustable?
Thought of this after having the same bother with a 164 clutch MC. Fixed it
by pressure feeding juice through the bleed nipple, might work for you,
though the pedal will get lower as the juice is used up as the caliper
pistons move in to accomodate pad wear.
