Re: GTV6 power window
Two things--for now, if you want the window closed, just (any which
way) secure the cable from moving (the upper part) then loosen the
philips screws on the clamp on the window, keep the cable taut, and
slide the window up til closed, then retighten the clamp.
Second, you're right, the spindle and cable are sold as a separate unit
but they are presently unavailable ( I just bought the last one!)
If you can't find one, then I'd suggest you buy cable (perhaps at a
boat supply shop) and carefully see how they are originally
wound--then-----rewind one yourself!--good luck!
