164 Torque steer
Ian
Recently I had a slow leak in a front tyre (The farrier for the kid's
horses has an unfortunate habit of shoeing the horses where I park the
164). I noticed the leak because the car started to torque steer. So I
agree with Fred that checking the tyre pressures is a first step.
The next potential culprit are the notorious a-arm bushes. For some time I
had one of the rear a-arm bushes on which the nut regularly loosened
itself. That produces a steer effect, although mainly under brakes.
Too much toe -out can also be an issue.
