late comment on the Impala Ad and news about US return

Did you find yourself in your 164, driving with an Impala in the rear view
mirror, thinking of the ad and thinking wheather the guy in the Impala
recognized the 164? The handling of the Impala cannot keep up with the 164,
and the regular V6 is not stronger, ( from my experience with a rental,
without knowing the numbers on the Impala). I am not sure that there's a SS
version of the current Impala out there or if the Ad dealt with such. I think
Chevy did the Ad cause they own enough Fiat stock to not be sued.
On a different turn of events, a friend working in Canada, was sent by his
company to a manufacturer of industrial assembly lines, and in a conversation
with the engineers working in that manufacturer's shop, found out that they
were putting the finishing touches on a robot meant to apply the windshield
to the shell of the future US Alfa. The friend did not find out exactly what
type of Alfa it was, and could not get any info about the location where the
robot was going to be shipped to ( for instance if US location was an
option).
So my thought is that preparations are moving along, and we're gonna see
these beauties soon.
