Yes, I'm guilty of something like this! - not with my mechanic, but with my
Alfa parts guru.  If I ever need anything from him, I never go in when I'm
in a hurry - this just doesn't give us enough time to talk about Italian
cars, our families and life in general.
I used to work only a few minutes away from his shop, and a few times when
I was having a really bad afternoon, there was always a gasket or something
small that I needed...

I work on the other side of Sydney now, and I'm having a bad afternoon
today, so I'll just have to settle for-mailing the AD...   ;-)
