If you don't want to spend big bucks on new seats, try to find a good pair of
late 80's Honda CRX
seats. They are comfortable, have reasonable support, and don't weigh a ton.
Also, there is very
little modification required to the Honda seat tracks to fit them in the GTV6.
I have them in my
GTV6 Track Car. I slotted them to accept 5 point harnesses, and used 2
adjuster rails per seat
for strength. Fabric is very durable too.
