RE: '71 GTV for sale

Even more - that's not a roll cage. Just a roll bar. A full cage would
extend forward.

I think someone had in mind to create a REALLY safe street car, with an
eye toward very rarely going to a drivers' school or track day.

Nothing wrong with that, but I agree, I think a $17,000 GTV that's been
modified like this should come with another car to be fairly priced.

Subject: RE: '71 GTV for sale

That's what I call a confused car. What is it, a club racer, or a fun
street car?
It has a roll bar hoop, but I don't see the competition seat belts.
It has a fuel cell, but has a trunk mat. Race cars generally don't have
full interiors.
Battery is in stock location, why not in the trunk if it's a racer?
It's a beautiful car, but the door panels are not correct, the trunk lid
doesn't fit that well, typical, there are no side marker lights.
Attention
to detail may be lacking.
On the other hand, it could just be a very safe street car!
A $17,500 GTV will have to be a whole lot more special than this one I
believe. Perhaps $5000 less?

Theres a '71 GTV in Georgia. Looks like it's set up for racing with a
fuel
cell and cage. Has anyone seen this car? Said to have been purchased
at
Concorso Italiiano.

Expensive at $17,500. Worth it?
