diesel fumes

Greetings from Canberra, where the days are getting shorter and the nights cooler.  Time to seriously considering putting the tin top on.

A week or so ago, while cruising down the Hume and Federal highways between Canberra and Sydney, a distance of 300 kilometres, ( a little geography lesson) at 110 kph, well that is my story and I am sticky to it, in the trusty 2500S sedan, the radio announcer was talking about a report just released regarding diesel fumes.

He was commenting on the fact that the Californian State authority on environment and polution, had released a report which stated that diesel fumes are noxious.   The report went on to say that the authority was recommending that diesel be phased out as a fuel.

Does any one know anything about this report, like name of the authority, webb site etc.
