Gearshift Lever interchangability?

Hi gang,

A buddy of mine has a nice TR3, and is about to install an overdrive
gearbox. He came to look at my Stag and really fell in love with the idea
of putting a Stag gearshift lever with the overdrive switch on the knob on
his TR3 gearbox.

Anyone have a clue if the Stag gearshift lever will work on a TR gearbox?
If so, anyone have an extra gearshift lever to sell?
