Hello All
Mr Wattam can be fairly forthright when he wants but thats OK. His  intentions
are nothing less than good and he has had a Stag for a very long time and is
very knowledgeable about this car. 
I personally don't agree with him about absolutely everything but it would be
a strange world if we all agreed with each other all the time. Its the
differences that make for the interest. We arrive at our positions for good
sound reasons and this needs to be shared.

The debate over the need for an Oil pressure gauge is a classic issue. 

I do think however we are obliged to be highly respectful of each other. I
believe we must value each others opinion for what its full worth regardless
of whether we agree with it.

To make personally critical  remarks is out of order and I am glad John
Clayton has apologised. Many is the time I have not thought reaction through
enough, and once you hit send on the email button thats it, so it is easily
done! 

If I was asked,  I would like everyone to adopt the concept of valuing each
other. By all means debate their argument and disagree, but value them them
for making it.

So I am signing off because I am sounding too much like the local vicar
