Chris,
James Paddock are usually very good at supplying the correct part and I
can't imagine them selling something that wouldn't fit. Is the arm
length and the mounting bracket the same as the old one ?
What is stopping it from sitting on the side of the distributor properly
? Is it the arm which moves the plate fouling on the pin ? (You need to
remove the pin before fitting the unit and then refit the pin ensuring
that it goes through the hole in the arm).
I have just fitted a Luminition kit to my distributor (havn't had the
engine running yet though!) and didn't have any problems with it fouling
the casing. I'll have a look at mine tonight to see what else could be
the problem.
Dave.
