So far as I know when rear wheels are not vertical, there is elongation of the
holes through the subframe for the differential extension nosing attachment
bolts.
This then allows the bottom edge of the subframe to pull away pushing the base
of the wheel away from vertical.
The other cause could be knackered springs but in my humble view they would
have to be very knackered.
