Supplement to procedure 86.10.02

Another way to remove the alternator on LHD cars.

Remove powersteering pump with bracket. See procedure 86.15.01 but don't
remove battery.
Unbolt bracket lower radiator pipe.
Unbolt alternator and remove electrical connecters.
Push the lower radiator pipe foreward and there is just enough room to
remove the alternator upward. It is a fiddle to get past the radiatorpipe,
the alternator has to be turned.
It worked severall times on my car, 76 LHD no AC, I don't know about RHD
cars.

If a Lucas 18 ACR is not available it is possible to fit a Bosch, 55 amps
output, with pully and fan. Only the adjusting link has to be grind down a
bit so it does not foul the fan of the alternator.
