Re: Carburattors

MIke

Greetings

Well the bit is hacked out, the 2 main objectives now is to firstly, get
the backside not to hurt too much, I have found out that it hursts less
when the members of the fairer sex put their hand on it, and secondly, stop
the mnasties from coming back. I am heading down the path of Chinese
herbals at the momnent.

As for the SU's, well I suppose it is like the question of electric versus
mechanical fans.

I have a single SU on the Morris Major (for 15 years with no dramas), then
several years ago, after much heart ache I booted the Strombergs on the
daughters 2000 sedan for a pair of SU's off a later model 2500 and of
course the 2500S had Su's from near. I set them and forget them for almost
years at a time.

I ahd the 2500s carbies rebuilt about 6 years back after they had done
about 175000 Kilo's, I rebuilt the 2000's Su's about a year ago, and they
are fine.

I just find the Strombergs a big pain in the $%^&, and I have already got
one there.
