Hello Duncan,
    If you are in the US, most of the discount stores like Wal-Mart and
K-Mart have battery finders that list the Stag for Exide and Champion,
Sears for Die-Hard, something like 600-750 cold cranking amps works, but
the physical size is important too..  A word of caution though:  The
combination top post/side terminal batteries have the positive side
terminal right in front of the power steering pulley bolt and it is too
close for comfort.  Be sure to measure your battery distance from the
body to the front of the pulley bolt first, then buy a battery that is
at least an inch less in width or wild sparks will fly and wires will
fry!
