Mohair Top

Has anyone (else) had the experience of pinching a (new) mohair top with the
bows when stowing, causing a tear in the rear quarter? What did you do about
it? 
The options I see are: 
(a.) a new top from Aldridges ($300), 
(b.) have Aldridges replace the entire panel ($120 plus shipping), 
(c.) Having it rewoven (Does anyone do that anymore?), 
(d.) Stitch a decorative patch of some sort over it, 
(e.) Have the word "Stag" tatefully monogrammed over it after being
stitchedup.
