Re:[4] Front Suspension Question
Friends
For those of you with long memories I have a problem on my rebuild project
where the front tires are to close to the road springs - for my comfort.
The problem is defiantly with the cross member. This week-end I took the
plunge and removed the cross-member from by "good" car and mounted it on
the re-build. Once I adjusted the toe and camber to be "about" right the
tires were nicely away from the springs.
So now what do I do for a permanent fix. I can't drill new holes for the
track arm bolt, because all I will get are slots. So I am left with finding
another cross member. Does any one in the US have a good one for sale ?
Anyone know of a junk yard with a Stag I could get the cross member shipped
from ?
Lenny - you have been so helpful in the past, can you help ?
Thanks for listening to my woes
