All Stags were originally fitted with a 3.7:1 final drive ratio, however a
quick rear casting changes allow 2000/2500 axles to be slipped in ( ratio I
think 3.45:1 ) thus giving reduced engine revs and higher speed but reducing
acceleration and placing more strain on drivetrain if heavilly loaded.
