Dear all,
I have written a detailed report on the current status of leaded petrol,
unleaded petrol and LRG (lead replacement gasoline) which concerns the UK
and Europe. This has only been done after extensive discussions with the
British and European Community legislators, the British Standards
Institution and with the oil companies in the UK.
This report places a very different perspective on what we can do with our
Stags in the future. The classic car specialist press and national daily
crap-sheets have got it all wrong. Badly.
Finally, the report makes some suggestions as to your course of action - if
any. For most Stag owners, no modifications to your car may be necessary
when leaded petrol becomes unavailable, as the LRG replacement gives
sufficient valve protection for most people.
If you would like a copy, please let me know and I will e-mail you a copy
in Word 6 format 4 pages zipped down to 7kb.
