RE: Steering weight
Peter
Thank you for that question, one tends to forget that there are
differences .
The answer is a '74 Mk 11 with small wheel 2.5 turns power rack.
Identical
to my '78 2500S.
The sedan has a nice weight both on the highway and around town, I can
still
park etc and whirl the wheel one handed with just the heel on my hand on
the
wheel, but the stag is much much lighter. One could almost say with no
"feel"
And as I have said, despite the fact that both cars are similar weight
and
size, totally different cars to drive.
keep staggering

Hi Brian
Do you have a Mark One Stag with a huge Steering Wheel and 4 and a half
turns
lock to lock, or a small steering wheel as per Mk 2 with 2.5 turns lock
to
lock.
I have the right Mk1 wheel with a Mk 2 rack (because Mk1 no longer
available
when mine was changed), and the steering is a good weight, or so it
seems to
me.
OK for high speed road work and parking.
Another 2p's worth
