Stag 2 part Soft top
Yo Gang,
Well, this is a little slippery, but the squeeky wheel gets the grease,
eh? I sent this off to Rimmers just now. If it sounds like something
you might want, let them know. If they blow me off, well I'll go ahead,
and share my ideas.

RE: NEW PRODUCT
Hey Guys,
I wonder if you might like to enter into a conversation regarding the
possibility of developing a new product for the Stag?
Specifically: A soft top and frame that separate at the "B" post.
I'm sure you are aware that there is a likely demand for a top
arrangement that leaves the rear seat of the Stag covered, but the
foreward seats open. Like a great many others, I have been trembling on
the verge of cutting my hard top. But its value and irreplaceability
keep stopping me.
I have a nearly complete soft top frame, with the remains of a very
dubious rag. Just for grins, I separated it where it joins at the "B"
post. It quickly occoured to me that this was a very doable conversion,
with no need to permanently disfigure or alter the frame. The
difficulty lies in getting someone to make up the soft top.
I imagine, with your relationship to whoever makes your hoods, and the
volume of your sales, that you are the only sensible candidates to take
on this project.
Let me know if you're interested, and I'll pass on to you the few
technical points that I already see.
Best regards,
Kevin Harrop
